I had to make a videogame as part of my college curriculum and one of the things that I was required to do was to maintain a devlog with my personal progress. In order to keep the development of Sabidrome public—since I am doing this from scratch—, I’ll post what I’m up to.

Said that, I expect that progress will halt at some point when college gets rough and that means that I’ll even forget how to post a blog entry. Instead of searching all the time how to do it I’ll post it here.

The commands

1. Create a new post

hugo new <project-root>/content/post/post-entry/index.md

2. Add image for the post

mv <random-place>/image.jpg <project-root>/post/post-entry/cover.jpg

3. Edit post

nano -S <project-root>/content/post/post-entry/index.md

4. Run live changes (new tab)

hugo serve
